How this map is made

  • Every five minutes each nockscan node lists the peers it is connected to over p2p. A peer connected to several of our nodes counts once.
  • No IP address is ever published. Each address is placed by area on the node itself, and an area needs at least 3 peers; smaller groups join their country or continent.
  • It is a sample, not a census: nodes that never connect to ours do not appear.
